Dr Banon is currently the Head of Movement Disorders Working Group on the Indonesian Neurology Association (PERDOSNI). She previously serve as the Head of Perdosni Bogor Branch, where she led the organization of Biennial Bogor Parkinson Meeting, now in its fifth edition. Her interest in Parkinson's Disease began during her neurological residency and was reflected in her thesis on the topic. Since then, she has dedicated her career to the field of Movement Disorders
